Scholarship Purpose and Eligibility

DBSF scholarships are intended for students who have experienced significant adversity and have limited financial, family or social support, and for whom financial assistance and mentoring are likely to make a meaningful difference to their ability to transition to and succeed in tertiary education.

The David Burgess Scholarship prioritises students where adversity is combined with limited support and creates a genuine risk to their ability to access or succeed in tertiary study.
